Taxis in Umbria
In Umbria you book a taxi by radio taxi (phone) or app: as elsewhere in Italy, regular Uber (UberX) doesn't exist. Many historic hilltop centres are ZTL (limited traffic zones), so taxis drop you at the checkpoints. The main airport is Perugia San Francesco d'Assisi, though for some towns a transfer from Rome or Florence may make more sense.
