To book a taxi in Siracusa, call the radio taxi at 0931 1795 or use the itTaxi app. Taxis don't stop on the street: you book them or catch one at a taxi rank.

Siracusa has no airport of its own: the reference airport is Catania-Fontanarossa (CTA), about 65 km / 50-60 minutes by car away. There is no fixed municipal fare for this route, because Siracusa taxis' taximeters only cover the city's territory: for the airport it's therefore best to agree on a price in advance with a local radiotaxi or to book an NCC/transfer service. Further south there is also the small Comiso airport (CIY), at a similar distance, but with much more limited flights.
Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL)
